Short Courses in Beekeeping at Pershore College

Pershore College is the leading provider of professional development courses to land based industries. The College offers short courses in beekeeping delivered on a flexible modular basis. The main objective of the courses is to provide participants with the information and skills needed to keep bees successfully and healthily. Lectures are led by Martyn Cracknell, a leading expert beekeeper in Worcestershire, he is currently the Chairman of Worcestershire Beekeepers Association, and assisted by experienced beekeepers from Pershore College.
The College has a thriving apiary in the fruit orchard, but is establishing a new 12 hive teaching apiary in association with Worcestershire Beekeeping Association's  Evesham Branch. The Courses will also make use of the colleges Food production Unit for Honey Processing.
